This is just the start

Big publishers are already backing Kinect in a big way: Peter Moore took to the E3 stage to announce that, starting next year, all EA Sports games will support Kinect, and Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's games will all get sensor features too. Where does Microsoft stand on the issue, though? Head of Microsoft Studios Phil Spencer has hinted that one day, all the publisher's games will use Kinect.

t's not a mandate that everything we do in first-party has to support Kinect right now. But I will say, specifically with voice, that there are some things that just seem to make navigating and playing games so much easier, that I would guess the answer will be yes in the end, that you'll see all first-party games using some form of Kinect functionality.

With the company revealing its biggest title for next year — Halo 4 — at E3, will we see Master Chief come to Kinect at last? Or is Microsoft hinting at the importance of Kinect to its next console? Would you even want all Microsoft games to feature Kinect? Let us know in the comments below.
