A couple of months ago we brought you First Impressions of a cute and very cool WiiWare title called Shadow Walker, but at the time there was uncertainty of whether it would reach Western shores. Well, thanks to the latest press release from GameArts, we can confirm it's heading to the US On December 28th, under the name The Magic Obelisk.

Renegade Kid are responsible for some of the more innovative and undeniably horrific first-person experiences on DS, having already given us Dementium: The Ward as well as the excellent Moon. Dementium II was recently announced for release in 2010, hitting North America on February 16th and reaching Europe a few weeks later on March 5th.

Capcom's latest behemoth-slaying epic still doesn't have a confirmed Western release date according to the latest Nintendo release schedule, giving us plenty of time to get excited about getting our hands on the series' first appearance on a Nintendo console.

You may not have heard of them, but GameShastra are apparently India's largest games services company, and they've recently revealed a list of upcoming titles including two new releases for WiiWare. Over the next few months, 12 new titles will be released across the various formats - to complement the two already published - as the company completes its move from independent developer to publisher.

Even though the final Lord of the Rings film was well over five years ago, the movie trilogy obviously sparked a furious lusting for Middle Earth-related games, something EA did their best to capitalise on with mixed results. Now the licence is back with studio Warner Bros., who just sent over the latest update on their new game Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest.
New WiiWare title lands on Christmas Day

We've just received the latest news from Playtainment that their upcoming hidden object game The Mystery of Whiterock Castle will be hitting the European WiiWare servers on December 25th, ready to fill your day with all the joy that finding objects can bring.
