First Impressions: Furry Legends

Recently an intrepid Nintendo Life reporter made the long and arduous journey to visit Polish developer Gamelion, the chaps behind DSiWare hit Extreme Hangman, to check out their upcoming WiiWare roll ‘em up Furry Legends. Virtual Console Confirmed for DSiWare

It's been a long time coming folks: ever since the DSi launched in April last year Nintendo fans worldwide have been clamouring for the ability to download past handheld titles in a similar fashion to the Wii's Virtual Console feature. Time and again Nintendo denied the existence of the service, but we can exclusively reveal Virtual Handheld will be available in the coming weeks.

Super Mario Kart Races to Europe on Friday

Virtual Console owners, start your Points cards!

It's been a long wait for European gamers to race around those classic 16-bit courses in the original Super Mario Kart: out in North America since November last year, and Japan since June, there's been barely a sniff of it outside those territories. The wait is nearly over though, as Nintendo has confirmed the game will be available to download on Good Friday.

Gamelion Studios' upcoming Furry Legends has been a bit quiet recently, but the studio has just sent over a new teaser trailer showing the title is coming along nicely. Although it doesn't show much, the spherical cow is almost certainly the cutest thing you'll see on the Internet today. If it's not, you should reconsider your bookmarks.

We love a bit of drilling action here at Nintendo Life – in fact, we recently called Mr Driller Drill Spirits one of our favourite ever ways to pass time on the big white throne.
