It seems that flying games for Wii are going to hit us pretty thick and fast in the coming months, with Tom Clancy's HAWX 2 just announced and now the decidedly more kid-friendly Kid Adventures: Sky Captain heading to Wii this Summer.
Latest update in massive series is heading Wii-ward
Whew, we were worried there for a minute. Activision's upcoming entry in the Call of Duty series, the currently-mysterious Black Ops, wasn't initially confirmed for a Wii release, leading to some consternation and brow-furrowing amongst the machine's owners. Now you can relax those brows: it is on the way to Wii.
Extra-terrestrial epic nearly here!
The footage of Super Mario Galaxy 2 is flooding out of Nintendo lately, with regular transmissions showing off new elements from the upcoming adventure. If all this spectacular footage still hasn't given you Mario on Wii ennui, this five minute trailer will have you bouncing off the walls and gnawing your fingernails until the game's released.

As promising as Metroid: Other M looks, not everybody is happy with the direction the series has taken: some would be happier with a straightforward 2D Samus adventure like the days of old. Their prayers may not be falling on deaf ears either, as Metroid overlord Yoshio Sakamoto has hinted the flat adventures may return.
Real name still under wraps
Even though the name seems to fit the upcoming console like a snug glove, apparently 3DS isn't the formal name for Nintendo's next handheld. No, it seems Iwata and company have an official title all lined-up, presumably waiting to unleash it at E3 in just over one month's time.
You can't knock Gameloft's commitment to DSiWare, with a constant supply of titles since the format launched in April 2009. The publisher's newest outing Hero of Sparta was originally a mobile title but is receiving the DSi treatment with all-new features and some pretty good graphics.

Disappointing results for great white hopes
Although it got off to a flyer with a top-five position in its first few days on sale, Monster Hunter Tri is sadly absent from the latest UK sales charts. More disappointing – though of absolutely no real surprise to anybody – is the total lack of Sin and Punishment: Successor of the Skies, failing to make a dent on the top twenty.
Dragon Quest kicks it up a notch
Versatile though it is, the Wii Remote sometimes just doesn't – excuse the pun – cut it when it comes to game input. Monster Hunter Tri was built around the Classic Controller Pro and Wii Sports Resort obviously revolved around MotionPlus, but neither of those add-ons were anywhere near as outlandish as this Dragon Quest: Battle Road Victory add-on.
