Remakes are big business these days – NBA Jam and GoldenEye 007 are just two on the way later this year – but demakes are growing in popularity. We recently got chance to play a little two-on-two with NBA Jam and came away a little dizzy but thoroughly entertained nonetheless. Although no fresh information was given during our hands-on time, a recent interview with the game's creative director Trey Smith has smashed the backboard of secrecy and set the NBA Jam information scoreboard on fire.
European film fans will probably be familiar with Lovefilm, an online DVD and game rental service with some 1.4 million members across Europe. Primarily built on discs and web-based viewing, the service has now signed an agreement with Widevine to allow Wii owners a chance to watch movies online through their console.

Predictably, it sucks
We've had chance to play Kirby's Epic Yarn in both single-player and co-operative multiplayer, and both occasions only served to increase our thirst for the newly-knitted one's next adventure.

Although we recently got chance to have a second bite at the 3DS apple, there was no further information available about when the machine would be released or how much it would cost. Now we have a clearer idea of when that information will be forthcoming.
