Last month we brought you a report on the 3DS's built-in software, in which we played one of the six augmented reality games that will come packaged with the 3DS. If you live in the UK and haven't yet been able to clap your eyes on a 3DS unit, Nintendo really, really wants you to see the machine before its launch. That's why it's putting together a national tour to bring the machine to your doorstep, or rather, a shopping centre located a convenient distance from your doorstep.
It's awards season in the media, and although the games industry hasn't got a high-profile ceremony to rival the Grammys or the Oscars that's not to say it has no awards to speak of. In the UK, the British Academy of Film and Television has just announced the nominees for the GAME British Academy Video Game Awards, with several Kinect titles nominated.
