Not content with releasing the first 3D football game in the form of Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D, Konami also wants to bring the first sumo wrestling, snowmobiles, snowballs, trampolining and more to 3DS with the release of Deca Sports Extreme (known as Sports Island 3D in Europe.)
Dance Central outsells Rock Band 3
There was a time when anyone suggesting a dance game without a controller would have been pulled into the back of a van and dumped in the nearest ditch, but Dance Central has shown it's perfectly possible, creating a cultural and commercial success in the process. Nobody's more pleased with the game's impact than Harmonix CEO Alex Rigopulos, who spoke of the initial gamble that faced the studio when setting out to develop the game.
Launch title in action
Considering Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars is one of the launch titles for 3DS things have been eerily quiet on the gameplay front, with not even a sniff of footage. Until now, that is, as Ubisoft has revealed the first trailer of its upcoming tactical title.
"Packed with surprises"
Mario is coming to 3DS in full force, with Mario Kart and Paper Mario already announced for release within the next year, but of course Nintendo is bringing 2D and 3D Mario platformers to 3DS. Nintendo President Satoru Iwata has recently tossed out a tiny scrap of information, and although it's not much to go on it's still Mario on 3DS.
Fascinating insight
Now-cancelled Kinect game Milo and Kate was one of the most promising titles shown off for Kinect way back when it was called Project Natal, but it seems destined never to see the light of day. This look behind the scenes of its development, then, could be the closest you come to playing Lionhead's fascinating character simulator.

It's been a long time coming, but WiiWare puzzle game Liight is finally coming to WiiWare on 14th March for 500 Points.
Wins Oscar for "Best Feigned Surprise"
The excitement for this year's Academy Awards has died down a little now, but these ladies and gentlemen in the audience for Ellen's Oscars special certainly keep the awards spirit alive with their standing ovation at finding out they were to receive an Xbox 360 with Kinect and a free copy of Yoostar 2.

What could have been...
N64 adventures Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo Tooie made plenty of fans back in their 64-bit heyday, but they never appeared on the GameCube. A threequel was planned but never released, but now unreleased game-finders par excellence Unseen 64 have posted a short video of the project.
Will it make for a better browser?
The 3DS won't get its web browser until May at the earliest, as you'll have read in our Nintendo 3DS FAQ, but we do at least know what'll power the machine's web experience.
