Going out with a bang?
There's been a lot of talk about the Call of Duty series on Wii over the years, even though the only title missing from the console since launch is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. History won't be repeating itself though, as Activision has confirmed in an investor call that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is coming to Wii.
Everybody, hunt!
Activision said it would bring the Cabela's series to Kinect, and true to its word it's got a new title lined up for later this year. It might not be quite what you're expecting though.
Since the Wii U's unveiling at E3 in June and the vague announcement of a 2012 release date, we've all been hanging on to find out exactly when Nintendo's next console will be available. We'll all have to keep hanging on though, as that information won't arrive until next year.
A necessary evil
Rumours of Nintendo's new console started circulating before E3, and the system's basic concept leaked out long before Reggie Fils-Aime rolled the tape. Nintendo president Satoru Iwata spoke to investors recently and admitted that the console's big reveal E3 was a little earlier than then company would have liked.
Gloss over
At the moment the Xbox 360 S comes in two flavours: 250GB and 4GB, in glossy and matte finishes respectively. A new challenger is about to enter the ring though, with a matte 250GB console on the way.
Sad.
Last week we heard a rumour that Kirby and the Amazing Mirror made up part of the Game Boy Advance section of the 3DS Ambassador program. We marked this as a rumour, and now it seems that rumour may not be true.
