Sony's holding its E3 press conference at 5pm PST, which is... midnight, UK time. Thanks, Sony; no sleep for me in June, then.
You should see the one that got away
Big John Games has just dropped us a line (sorry) to let us know its frantic fishing game Big Bass Arcade has passed Nintendo lotcheck and is swimming its way upstream to the DSiWare shop.
And now Gamespress goes down thanks to the Capcom-related excitement. That's how you know you're a big deal!
Give F5 a break
So, despite everyone's biggest hopes and best intuition, Capcom's Captivate 2011 event came and went without even so much of a sniff of Monster Hunter 3DS.
I was planning to have a nice quiet afternoon in with some chocolate, wine and Sonic Chronicles. Then this happened.
I'm considering today a practice run for E3 in early June. Hit me with your best shot, Nintendo!
Lots to look forward to
Here's hoping you have plenty of coins in that wallet if you're intending to see most of the games this year has to offer, as Nintendo Europe has released an overview of the games coming to Wii, 3DS and DS in the next three months.
Should be here before July
We hereby christen today "Good News Tuesday". Not only have we discovered the release dates for countless titles — Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Reverie, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D and plenty more — we've also had confirmation from Nintendo that classic Square RPG Chrono Trigger will see the light of day on Virtual Console in Europe.
What lies in store?
Nintendo's list of games to be released on Wii, DS and 3DS in the next three months contains a few surprises — we already reported on Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D's launch date — but let's not forget the third-parties who continue to support Nintendo consoles.
