In a few weeks' time, The Sims will be changed forever: finally the commands you shout at your characters will actually make a difference, as The Sims 3 Pets is due to launch on Kinect. EA just sent over a batch of new screenshots showing the game and its menagerie in action.
To what end?
Here's a curious one: Disney has just registered a trademark for Castle of Illusion that explicitly states it refers to video game cartridges, discs and software.

Nintendo of America has just announced new partnerships with Dreamworks Animation, 3net and the Blue Man Group that will see all three bring new 3D video to the Nintendo Video application on 3DS.

The next outing from the Tiger is the cleverly named Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13, and it's due out next March. EA Sports hasn't done anything with Kinect yet, somewhat surprising considering its unrivalled stable of sports games. The publisher will break that duck next year when it releases Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 for Xbox 360.
