The purple "Better with Kinect Sensor" stripe is a familiar sight on games now, but strangely it's nowhere to be seen on Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, a HD revamp of the game that arguably established Microsoft as a major player in the console business. Yet here we are, two decades later, playing a celebration of Sonic's career on Nintendo's latest console.

Where is it going?
No matter what you make of Kinect's current games line-up or its future potential, you can't argue the past 12 months have been anything but fascinating: watching developers create new concepts to fit a button-free body-tracking control system, with all the success and struggle that brings with it.Rejoice!
