Nintendo Japan Humbly Attending to Metroid: Other M Bug Fix

There's a serious bug in Metroid: Other M that requires gamers who encounter it to restart their game from the beginning, unless they've been saving in multiple slots along the way. Nintendo of Japan is the first company out of the blocks to arrange for those unlucky souls to receive help.

Nintendo Download: 27th September (North America)

Two each for WiiWare and DSiWare

This week's release schedule is as varied as usual, taking in potentially fatal sports games to cerebral puzzlers, with two games apiece for WiiWare and DSiWare and the expected break from Virtual Console.

Target Toss Pro: Lawn Darts (700pts, Incredible Technologies) – The follow-up to Target Toss Pro: Bags, this puts you in a virtual back garden and lets you live out your fantasies of throwing giant darts at a range of different targets, including cards and dartboards. High price for hedgehog heaven

Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 is one of WiiWare's most anticipated games, either because of or despite the claims it will bring Sonic back to his glory days, depending on your point of view. Flagship WiiWare titles don't come cheap however, and the latest issue of Nintendo Power claims Sonic's next outing will set you back a sizeable 1,500 Wii Points.

Slight dip for flagship title whilst others climb

Sports Champions made it to number 2 in the UK charts in its first weekend of sale, a surprising but pleasing achievement for Sony's top Move title.
