New console colour complemented by new games
In a move that nobody saw coming, Nintendo today announced the release of a pink DSi console in Europe, available from February 12th. Packaged with Style Boutique (known as Style Savvy in the US), the console is set to win over macho hearts and minds in just a few weeks.

Puzzle games are ten-a-penny on WiiWare, varying from the boring to the brilliant. Attempting to nestle nicely into this overcrowded genre comes Art of Balance, a physics-based block-stacker from the developers of DS shooter Nanostray. Having had chance to sit down with Art of Balance for a few hours it’s clear this is a classy puzzle game that should make you sit up and take notice.

The sum of its parts
There's no doubt that James Cameron's Avatar in all its 3D blue-and-green beauty is a worldwide phenomenon, grossing millions upon millions of dollars and becoming a word of mouth sensation. With such a wave of success comes James Cameron's Avatar: The Game from Ubisoft, with its oft-heard promises of being an interactive experience to complement the movie, expanding the story and so on. Fittingly, it matches the movie in one key area: by pleasing despite its obvious formula.
The videos on the MH3 site made me more than a little excited. Looks to have plenty of "WTF is THAT?!" moments. Bring on April! NOW!
