The heroes return only on DS! Updated with trailer!
It's taken seven years for the franchise to return, but last year saw the announcement of Golden Sun DS. Today at Nintendo's E3 press conference we saw plenty more on the game, now officially titled Golden Sun: Dark Dawn.

The first Professor Layton was a huge crossover hit all over the world, bringing non-gamers to the DS in droves, enchanted by its blend of puzzle and adventure in a rather whimsical shell. Last year's Pandora's Box was every bit as good, and now the saga continues with two more mysteries for the top-hat professor to get his head around.

Not only is 3DS set to receive some Super Street Fighter IV action in three-dimensions, notorious (but actually rather good underneath) beat 'em up Dead or Alive is heading to the console as well. Two fighting games for one Nintendo handheld might just be a record, you know.

And so the great E3 2010 content marathon continues with a few short but sweet shots of Square Enix and Disney's crossover Kingdom Hearts, heading to 3DS in the near future.
With all the excitement about the upcoming 3DS and all the amazing titles lined up for it – again, Contra is coming – let's just take a moment to remind ourselves that the Wii is still very much alive and kicking. Nintendo has kindly put out a release schedule for the machine but those expecting to find hidden treasures may be disappointed, though that's not to say the list is lacking in quality titles.

You'd have thought these two could have settled their differences by now, but the long-standing rivalry between Mario and Donkey Kong continues to boil, with Mario vs Donkey Kong: Miniland Mayhem for DS the latest title to pit the two against each other.

You might remember the mysterious Project Sora from last year, an unknown title set up by Masuhiro Sakurai, famed creator of countless Nintendo characters. Today at E3 2010 we found out the game's real name is Kid Icarus: Uprising and it's heading exclusively to 3DS, and it looks amazing.
