My sugestion for the podcast is the following: Put out the question “Are Sega's franchises on to a renaissance on the Wii?”.

With Sonic and The Secret Rings and Monkey Ball on Wii getting good reviews, Nights and Alien Syndrome coming soon, and rumors of Samba de Amigo hitting Wii also... we are getting a lot of Sega this generation.

Then, of course, there's the ever popular suggestion of House of the Dead for Wii.

What do you think?

Thanks for the comments and compliments on the podcast, everyone! I do spent quite a bit of time putting these together during my time off, so it's nice to know you listen and enjoy them. Makes it all worthwhile!

The dual controls thing sounds like a smart idea, and allays one of my fears about the control scheme being too complicated. It's a shame there wasn't more information, and the pimping of NGamer was fairly crass I thought, but it looks like there are lots of avenues for NiGHTS information at the moment, so it should be okay.

Suggestions for Monday's podcast are more than welcome - is there anything else you'd like to know about NiGHTS? I'll do my best to oblige!

Sadly nothing in this months Nintendo Mag about it other than a small news piece which reports the following;

The wii version of the game is being taken care of Takashi Iizuka, a key member of the original NiGHTS team. Two control systems will be offered so tat fans of the original can stick with the Nunchuck's analogue control, whereas the adventurous among you can try with full blown Wii Remote freedom.

For loads more screens and an exclusive interview with Takashi Iizuka you should look out for the next issue of our sister magazine, NGamer which hits UK shelves on Wednesday 25th April.

Nice scans!

I think that waterfall probably will flow upwards. There were a few levels of the original with NiGHTS with water on the ceiling, so it's a nice touch. So far the overall look seems to be in line with the original, which is very nice. Time to get a Wii methinks.

I was about to comment on the new images released!

The game impresses me visually... and not because of the pixel count, but because of the overall style of the graphics, and the imagination put into all of it.

Is that an upwards-waterfall? Or is the character just upside-down?
I think I've seen it on the previous scans too. And fishes going out of water and following you? It's amazing, really.

After all, it's supposed to be a world of dreams, isn't it. Oh, the hype...

Hi James! I just listened to the podcast. You do seem to put a lot of effort into it, so congrats on a good job!

I recently caught a small video on nightopians and mipians (if that's the way you spell it) on YouTube, of all places; so you could say now I'm a bit more enlightened on the subject.

The original NiGHTS sounds really good... hopefully, I'll have the chance to play it someday. That, or the sequel lives up to it and I get it for Wii.

The small details you mention is one of those things I love for developers to throw into games. The unexpected, yet wonderful ones. Going back to Super Mario Bros., that is probably the reason why that game blew your mind in the first place (with all the hidden mushrooms and warps).

See you around!
