Thanks for that update, Rafael. I hadn’t seen the site in question, but I’m a little surprised that if they have news this big it hasn’t been picked up by larger gaming sites.

Spong claimed to have received confirmation yesterday, but I can’t find any confirmation that Sega or Sonic Team have put their name towards it. In fact, Spong actually said it wouldn’t be handled by Sonic Team and implied Prope would develop it, when actually I think that’s fairly improbable.

It’s strange – this is the first time I’ve actually felt the need to respond to rumours with some concrete analysis, and it looks like I might even be wrong. Well, if I am, I’m still a winner!

I’ve heard that sega and sonic team has officially claimed that NiGHTS into Dreams 2 was going to happen. Take a look at this imformation I got off of the website called “WiisWorld”

There’s been a lot of speculation about this lately, but Sega and Sonic Team have now officially confirmed that a new NiGHTS game will be released exclusively on Wii.

The original “NiGHTS Into Dreams” came out in 1996 on Sega’s ill-fated Saturn console. Sales were mediocre but apparently the game was hot stuff and has a cult following. Those crazy cultists.

Yep, I wrote that but things change, especially over the course of six months or so. Perhaps this article is a little reverse psychology – if I convince myself it’s not coming out I’ll actually be pleased when it does.

I still stand by that comment, particularly the last bit: hopefully all this attention is reminding people what a great game NiGHTS still is.

Iâ€™m with you on the boss system – I only ever managed to master Puffy, and although I felt a little guilty for fighting her all the time, I felt worse when I lost a potentially high score!

NiGHTS on Wii is a strong possibility; I guess it would be like the Air NiGHTS game Yuji Naka mentioned a few years back. Whether or not it would be a great game given Sonic Teamâ€™s recent track record, who knows? Either way, at least weâ€™ll always have, as you quite rightly say, the forgotten gem of NiGHTS.

Well according to the magazine it states that the exclusive will be about a wii game. anyway here is your picture( http://gonintendo.com/wp-content/photos/ItsNights2.jpg ) matched up with the constellations I think there will be a new NiGHTS game on the wii.
