Nice review, better than GameSpots! I'm really thinking of picking this game up now.

Hi Sean,

Thanks for your comment! I can't remember my last reply to your last comment but it's probably on the Boktai post, if you want to read that.

I haven't played Sonic Rivals but for a handheld game it looks pretty good. I don't see it having the depth of Sonic and the Secret Rings though - the levels are really detailed and well-designed, and although the video possibly doesn't have the impact of playing the game (the graphics sadly look much less crisp than usual) I think it still has enough "bloody Hell" bits: Levitated Ruin, the surfing bit, all the dinosaurs and everything. It's ace.

Stick around!

Hello Mr James, long time no speak!.
I couldnt be bothered to plough through the archives to find out what the response to my last message was all that time ago, but Im sure it was enlightening :D
Anyway, I suppose I had better comment on Sonic. Hmm. Well I had a gander at your videos and I must say I was not so much impressed by the game as by your commentary "Running towards dinosaurs!". Anyway I have not played this game first hand, but I have played Rivals on the PSP and looking at the two side by side Im afraid that Rivals wins on Bloody Hell factor.
Meaning that when I play it I tend to go Bloody Hell!
Do you think thats enough? I will give your three guesses to work out who this is and I will try not leave it months to reply THIS time. I do hope you are well Mr James, we shall chat soon.

A pleasure Josh. I completed it yesterday with about fourteen hours racked up, but I really want to keep playing to earn new skills, medals and all the features in the "Special Book". I like the way it rewards you as you play, rather than in one go at the end as Sonic Adventure 2 did.

Thanks for your comment!
